Airtec series

The AIRTEC models use heat, air and vacuum to apply coatings to shaped workpieces. This series has been designed to achieve high production volumes.

Applications

  • Coating of shaped surfaces with 3D thermoforming films (PVC, PPE, ABS etc.); this operation can be carried out with or without membrane depending on the case, (the press is equipped with a mechanical system that allows the operator to put on/take off the membrane very quickly);
  • Coating of shaped surfaces with veneer (this operation always requires the use of the membrane).

Typical final products

  • Various types of shaped panels;
  • Doors, cabinet doors and flaps for bathrooms, kitchens etc.

Common features of Airtec models

  • Solid steel platens
    Maximum working temperature: 250°C.
    Maximum specific working pressure 30 kg/cm².
    Our solid steel platens are manufactured in our own metal workshop with numerically controlled machines; the platens are made of steel plates drilled with holes for oil circulation;

  • Types of heating systems
    Oil boiler – maximum oil temperature 120°C (customizable to higher temperatures)
    Heating Fluid – Diathermic oil;

  • Control panel
    The press is equipped with a “touch screen” digital control panel;

  • Compliance
    The presses manufactured by OMC Machinery comply with the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.

    Applications:

    This membrane press is equipped with an aluminum tray to coat one side of the workpieces with 3D thermoforming films and veneer.
    This model is equipped with a strong pneumatic system and a sturdy structure made of oxy-cut steel sheets, in order to coat the most demanding surfaces.

    Models:

    Airtec CM: MANUAL loading onto the long side

    • Airtec CM 1 comes with 1 manual tray;
    • Airtec CM 2 comes with 2 manual trays.

    Useful dimensions and hydraulic thrust

    • Airtec CM 16/08: 1600×800 mm, 4 + 1 Kg/cm2c ;
    • Airtec CM 24/09: 2400×900 mm, 6 + 1 Kg/cm2.

    Standard equipment

    • 1 rubber membrane;
    • Heating system with diathermic oil;
    • 1 proportional control valve + 500 litre air tank;
    • 1 vacuum pump with 500 litre tank.

      • AIRTEC CA is equipped with 1 tray;
      • AIRTEC CA-2V is equipped with 2 trays;
      • AIRTEC CA-3V is equipped with 3 trays;

      • Airtec CA 25/14: 2340×1280 mm, 8+1 Kg/cm2;
      • Airtec CA 30/14: 2840×1280 mm, 8+1 Kg/cm2.

      • 1 proportional control valve + 500 litre air tank;

        Airtec Double

        This model is equipped with a strong pneumatic system and a structure made of oxy-cut steel sheets in order to coat particularly demanding surfaces.

        • “Airtec Double up”: downstroke press with motorized loading table with belt conveyor;
        • “Airtec Double down”: upstroke press with motorized loading table with belt conveyor;

        • 30/42: 2550×1250 mm, 8 Kg/cm2.

        • Heating system with diathermic oil;
