Types of platens
The Pfl presses are equipped with platens made of chipboard, covered with galvanized metal sheet.
The platens are opened manually using a lever.
• PFL.A
The Pfl.a model is equipped with a downstroke pressing platen which operates from top to bottom.
• PFL.B
The Pfl.b model is equipped with an upstroke pressing platen which operates from bottom to top.
• PFL.C
The Pfl.c model is equipped with an upper platen divided into three equal and independent platens.
Standard equipment
- The structure is made of assembled and welded S275JR steel beams;
- The opening of the platens is carried out manually using a lever;
- The pressure gauge of the control panel displays the hydraulic pressure;
- The pressure is adjustable with a handwheel;
the system is equipped with a pressure maintenance tap.

The presses produced by OMC comply with the EC Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
